John Martyn DVD.

I collaborated with photographer Leo Cinicolo to create the art for John Martyn 'At the BBC and Live 1986' DVD, part of 'The Island Years' boxset on Island Records/Universal Music.

Without any high resolution photography and only grainy footage from the live concert, my concept was to show a still from the concert film on a TV in a room which evoked the spirit of the time period of the recordings, spanning the late 1970's up to 1986. We collected props and created the set for the photoshoot, I then worked in post-production to create the finished artwork.
